Why should I
Join the Ware County Band Boosters?
Because,
in the 2010-2011 school year, the Ware County Band Boosters raised funds
that went directly to the Ware County Band program in the following ways:

3 band
camp meals for the marching band

Band
uniforms and maintenance
-
Helped
purchase props for the halftime show
-
Helped
fund band camp purchase of flags, auxiliary equipment
-
Halftime drinks at each home football game for both Golden Gators and
visiting band

Paid
expenses for All-State students to attend All-State
-
Sponsored marching band at marching contest with entrance fees and food

$90+
towards band jacket per student
-
$2,000
provided to each Middle School for awards and other special needs
-
Contributions to band student trip accounts through their participation
in fundraisers (including Middle Schools)

Purchase of all end of the season/year awards for the marching and
concert bands
-
Hundreds of volunteer hours to the Golden Gators to help them be the
best of the best!

child is in the
Ware County Band program, then you should be a member of the Ware County
Band Boosters, shouldn't you? Please take the time to support your band
student.
In order for
your child to receive his/her Band Jacket, parents/guardians must be members
in good standing of the Ware County Band Boosters during the child's 9th,
10th, and 11th grade years.
