Marching Band
The
Ware County Marching Drumline consists of approximately 23 members: 5 snares, 3
tenors, 6 basses, and 9 in the pit. The band participates in all of
the football games, as well as two marching contests. The drumline
placed 6th overall out of 23 drumlines at Warner Robins and placed
2nd overall at Lowndes County.
In November 2005, the drumline traveled
with the marching band to participate in the Philadelphia Christmas
Parade, as well as spending time in New York City. The season came to a
close with the annual Waycross Christmas parade.
This season was
filled with dedication and hard work by all of the students, and we
are looking forward to another great year next year! |
